Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She is the anchor for the channel's programs "Squawk on the street" (Closing Bell) as well as 'Squawk on the Street' (CNBC). She's an Ohio native, and wasn't fascinated by markets or currencies when she was in college. She worked as an intern at ForexTV.com while she was an undergraduate at New York University. It is there that she had her first encounter dealing with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. After that, she did a four month-long internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She then returned to America and began working in New York at Bloomberg. She was a TV anchor later. CNBC appointed her as a correspondent in December 2013. She has served as a co-anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch', and then landed the position on "Closing Bell' in 2018. Eisen is co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. One of the most renowned business journalists today her main area of interest has been global consumer news since joining CNBC.
