Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, also known as Camila Cabello, was born on March 3, 1997, in Coj mar, Havana, Cuba. She is a talented Cuban-American actress, singer, and songwriter, and her name is pronounced as "ca-meela ca-beyo". Cabello gained fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, and even while in the group, she established herself as a solo artist. She released collaborations with Shawn Mendes and Machine Gun Kelly, which both reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello left Fifth Harmony in 2016 and went on to release many other collaborations with Pitbull and J Balvin. She also released her debut solo single, "Crying in the Club". Cabello has a younger sister named Sofia, and when she was six years old, she moved to Miami, Florida, in the US, with her mother. She gained American citizenship in 2008 and attended Miami Palmetto High School before leaving in the 2012-2013 school year to pursue her singing career.
