Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American stage and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress due to her roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch school of the arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is actively involved in theater, film, and television. Her acting career began in the theatre. She then appeared in several television shows in independent films, mainstream and movies. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with praise from critics but also received a host of nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Film. Her professional acting d but was in the role of Ariel, in The Tempest. On Broadway she's appeared on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone.
